Job Title: Farm Equipment Operator – Agriculture Job Type: Full-Time Pay: Competitive hourly wage (based on experience) + Overtime + Bonus potential Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and reliable Farm Equipment Operator to join our team. This role involves operating and maintaining a variety of agricultural equipment to support planting, fertilizing, harvesting, and other field operations. The ideal candidate is experienced with modern machinery, safety-conscious, and capable of working long hours during peak seasons. Key Responsibilities: Operate tractors, sprayers, spreaders, planters, combines, and tender trucks to perform a wide range of field operations. Assist with fertilizer and chemical application, grain hauling, and seasonal planting and harvest activities. Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Work closely with farm management, agronomists, and team members to meet fieldwork and logistics schedules. Accurately follow directions, maps, and prescriptions for field applications and equipment settings. Maintain detailed records of field activity, equipment use, and maintenance tasks. Comply with all safety, environmental, and company policies at all times. Qualifications: Valid CDL (Class A or B) or ability to obtain (Tanker and Hazmat endorsements preferred). Previous experience operating agricultural equipment such as tractors, sprayers, planters, and trucks. Strong mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues in the field. Willingness to work extended hours and weekends during peak seasons (spring and fall). Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of precision ag technology and GPS-guided equipment (preferred but not required).
