Software Configuration Analyst

WHAT WE'RE DOING Join Lockheed Martin’s team working on the cutting‑edge Joint Strike Fighter Training & Logistics program. You will help provide training systems for the world’s most advanced aircraft – the F‑35 Joint Strike Fighter. THE WORK As a Software Configuration Management Analyst, you will maintain the integrity and traceability of all software released by the program to its customers. RESPONSIBILITIES Track and maintain all program software and data on training devices Manage and control all configuration changes Assign unique identifiers to software and data used by training devices Support routine engineering reviews and configuration audits Review changes to software baseline to ensure compliance with configuration management policies Ensure that data and physical media have all appropriate labels and markings Disseminate data to the program and government customers WHO YOU ARE We’re looking for a team player comfortable in a software‑focused environment that uses tools such as MS Office, Atlassian suite, DOORS Next, and internal automation scripts (bash, python, PowerShell). Strong computer, organizational, and communication skills are essential. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Experience with Software Configuration Management in the defense industry Analytical skills to understand hardware and software system relationships Experience analyzing data and workflow processes Proficiency with software tools and processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications DESIRED SKILLS Experience with software development and design Experience with artifact storage systems such as Nexus, Artifactory, or GitLab Problem‑solving and constructive change implementation skills SECURITY CLEARANCE Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years. This position requires a U.S. Government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. citizens. LOCATION & SCHEDULE On‑site full‑time in the Orlando office. You may need to flex hours to support program schedules. Shift: 4×10‑hour day, 3 days off per week.
