Job Summary

We are seeking a Construction Project Coordinator for a direct hire opportunity in Sylmar, CA. This role supports New Installation construction projects within an industrial facilities and infrastructure environment, helping ensure projects are properly booked, documented, coordinated, and closed out on time.

The Construction Project Coordinator will work closely with Project Managers, field leadership, vendors, factories, and internal engineering resources to keep project activity organized and moving forward. This is a strong opportunity for a detail-oriented construction administrative professional who enjoys coordination, follow-up, documentation, and supporting successful project execution.

This role is ideal for someone who values teamwork, responsive leadership, structured processes, and the ability to contribute directly to project efficiency and profitability. The position offers stability, visibility across active construction projects, and the opportunity to build a long-term career path in construction project administration and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with New Installation construction projects to support successful project close-out, efficiency, and profitability.
- Help review and book awarded projects within required timelines, escalating schedule risks to management with proposed action plans.
- Support Project Managers with approved documentation submissions to internal engineering teams and local vendors.
- Coordinate and follow up with factories, vendors, and Field Superintendents to confirm required materials are ready before project start dates.
- Track project details, documentation, timelines, and communication to help ensure smooth execution from award through close-out.
- Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding project status, material readiness, and required next steps.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $80,000 to $90,000 per year.
- Location: Sylmar, CA.
