Patient Food Service Aide

Encompass Health is seeking a Patient Food Service Aide to support our mission-driven rehabilitation hospital team. In this role, you will assemble and deliver patient meals, closely following diet orders, allergy restrictions, and texture modifications to support safe recovery. You’ll ensure accurate tray setup, verify patient identification, and respond to basic meal needs with compassion and respect. Responsibilities include maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and infection control, stocking and cleaning work areas, and collaborating with dietary and nursing staff in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
