Allied Technician - Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist (PT)

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. This role primarily involves working with patients in an acute inpatient setting and may also require some coverage for acute rehabilitation. The ideal candidate will have experience treating a variety of conditions and diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy assessments and treatments for patients with post-operative, orthopedic, stroke, cardiovascular, and deconditioning needs.
• Manage a caseload of 10-12 patients daily.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with facility standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in departmental meetings and ongoing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification and active Physical Therapy license in the state of Utah.
• Previous acute care experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule and Shifts

• Expected to work 5 days a week, preferably Tuesday to Saturday.
• 4x10 hour shifts may be considered based on needs.
• Weekend coverage required for 2 weekends within an 8-week contract.
• Holidays are not mandatory but may be requested based on staffing needs.

Dress Code

The designated scrub color is tan, aligning with departmental dress code policies.

Orientation

All clinicians must be present for the week of orientation, even if some training modules are conducted remotely. Orientation will be conducted onsite at two different facilities, with potential for additional days if necessary.

Additional Information

Candidates must be willing to cover various areas including Med Surg, Telemetry, ICU, and community hospitals.
