Registered Nurse - Radiology

Job Description

Job Summary:

Travel- Neuro RN- Neuro IR (719) provides direct patient care within Radiology, supporting Neuro IR workflows and moderate sedation processes. This role ensures safe monitoring, timely communication, and adherence to clinical protocols throughout patient encounters.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients and perform ongoing monitoring during Neuro IR procedures and moderate sedation.
• Administer and document medications per provider orders while following sedation safety protocols.
• Collaborate with radiology and clinical teams to prepare patients and support procedure readiness.
• Maintain accurate documentation in MEDITECH, including assessments, vitals, and nursing interventions.
• Manage infection prevention practices and ensure equipment readiness for imaging and intervention support.
• Communicate effectively with multitasking teams to support 1:1 patient care and continuity.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license appropriate for practice in Radiology settings.
• Maintain current ACLS certification.
• Possess more than 2 years of RN experience.
• Demonstrate critical care experience or equivalent high-acuity patient care exposure.
• Perform effectively in fast-paced environments requiring strong multitasking and communication.
• Use MEDITECH or equivalent EMR systems with strong documentation skills.
