We are a community based independent pharmacy located in Castle Shannon since 2006. Our goal is to provide exceptional pharmaceutical service coupled with personalized care, all why providing a service quickly and efficiently. We set ourselves apart from other pharmacies primarily with the level of service we offer in addition to the scope of services we offer our customers at no charge.

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team 2-3 days per week in the pharmacy and 1 day per week as an outside sales/marketing associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, as well as providing customer service and administrative support. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to accurately enter data into our computer system.

Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for calling on various local apartment complexes and nursing homes in an effort to establish new business relationships and garner new customers with the advertisement of our pharmacy services.

We anticipate this to be a 20-30 hour per week position with two days in the pharmacy and one day outside of the pharmacy. Weekly schedule can be taylored to the candidates availability.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications according to prescriptions.
• Market the pharmacy via face to face interaction with outside administrators and coordinators to grow the existing pharmacy footprint
• Maintain accurate records of medications dispensed.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing medication orders.
• Answer customer questions regarding medications and health care products.
• Maintain inventory of medications and supplies.
• Provide customer service to patients and other healthcare professionals.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
