As a SONIC Drive-In Restaurant Cook , you will oversee the Appetite Satisfaction Department, which includes operating stations such as Food Production, Grill, Fryer, and other tasks as applicable. Cook Responsibilities: Preparing and cooking food orders to meet quality standards Food preparation and portioning Cooking on the grill Operating the fry station Dressing items to order Packaging menu items and checking for quality and consistency Cleaning duties including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes, wiping counters, and sanitizing food areas Requirements: Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays Flexibility based on business needs Effective communication skills, basic math and reading skills Ability to follow directions Willingness to adhere to appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards Knowledge of restaurant or retail operations is a plus but not required Additional Qualities: Friendly demeanor and a smile to provide quality service Willingness to cross-train on all stations Motivated team players committed to cleanliness and safety Join the groovy SONIC experience!
