Job Summary

Shambaugh & Son is looking for a 2nd Shift the role you be managing the day-to-day operations of the Fabrication Shop while ensuring all safety requirements are maintained.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan organize direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to scheduling requirements
• Be responsible for production output product quality and on-time shipping
• Maintain a trusting relationship with work group manage and develop shift staff
• Commit to plant safety procedures
• Address employees issues and work with Shop Manager to address
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a production shift supervisor managing production employees
• Adequate knowledge of business and management principles
• Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise
• Be knowledgeable of safety and quality
• Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
• Strong team building decision-making and people management skills
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Able to adapt to constant changing schedule
• Ability to always remain flexible
• Regular and reliable attendance including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
