Benefits You Can Count On Pay Rate: up to $90,000 Sign‑on bonus: up to $10,000, depending on experience 3rd shift – overnight Day‑1 benefits: medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, and company‑paid life insurance Paid holidays, vacation time, and sick leave accrual from day one 401(k) profit‑sharing after 90 days Pet insurance, maternity/paternity leave, employee assistance program, discount programs, tuition reimbursement, and more What You’ll Do as a CDL‑A Delivery Driver Inspect tractor‑trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off‑hour delivery Drive tractor‑trailer to destination, applying commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering the vehicle on the road and at customer premises Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises Other duties as assigned Qualifications You’ll Bring At least 21 years of age Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL‑A) At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor‑trailer driving experience Meeting McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job‑related tasks safely Fit the Following Safety‑focused Reliable Adaptable Dedicated Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.
