Sharp Street Millville, NJ 08332 Job Brief: We are looking for a Food Runner to join our team and facilitate collaboration between our kitchen and wait staff. In this position, you will be responsible for serving food orders, removing used dishes & utensils, and packing take-out orders. If you’d like to gain experience in the restaurant industry and learn how to provide an excellent dining experience, we’d like to meet you. Compensation includes wages and tips. Responsibilities: Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the correct tables accurately and promptly Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow Ensure all dishes are properly garnished and presented before delivery Assist servers with table maintenance, including clearing plates and refilling beverages Monitor dining room needs and respond quickly to guest requests Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations Pack take-out orders neatly and accurately Requirements: Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is a plus but not required Attention to detail of food and plating before delivery to customers Physical ability and stamina to carry plates of food and stand for long hours Strong oral communication and teamwork skills Positive attitude and a guest-first mindset Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment Must be reliable and punctual Benefits: Competitive starting pay Climate controlled kitchen and working environment 401k access with competitive match We work with school schedules #J-18808-Ljbffr TNSL Lambert Incorporated
