Location: Remote, Equipment Provided
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM CST
Pay: $20-24/hour DOE

We are seeking Hospital Cash Posting Specialists to accurately post and reconcile payments for patient accounts. This role is responsible for processing electronic and manual payments, balancing accounts, maintaining payment logs, and ensuring accurate financial documentation while supporting the revenue cycle team.

Responsibilities:
- Post and reconcile insurance and patient payments received through ERAs, EFTs, lockbox, mail, and correspondence.
- Apply adjustments and accurately balance patient accounts.
- Transfer remaining balances to secondary insurance or patient responsibility.
- Maintain payment logs and monitor payment activity for accuracy.
- Prepare bank deposits and reconcile financial transactions.
- Assist with EFT/ERA enrollments and payer website access.
- Partner with billing and patient account teams to resolve payment discrepancies.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial records and assist with training team members as needed.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of hospital accounts cash posting/payment posting experience (experience must be within the last 6 months)
- Experience posting ERAs, EFTs, and manual payments.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet productivity standards.
