Retail / Stocking Associate - Employee Owner Job Type: Full-time Full Time 30-40 hrs/wk From $15/hr About the Position PURPOSE & SCOPE Here at A.W. Brown we are now proudly Employee Owned and looking for a Retail / Stocking Associate for our front end team. Customer service is our number one priority and our associates have the most interactive contact with customers as they purchase their goods at Point of Sale (POS) and answer questions while working the aisles stocking shelves. Associates are responsible for providing value-added customer service by offering courteous and knowledgeable assistance. You will be dealing with our loyal customers at the front end as well as keeping the store looking great and the shelves filled with product. You will need to be able to lift 50 lbs. bags. Comfort with retail POS systems is a plus. Responsibilities Operate the POS terminal in a professional, knowledgeable and accurate manner: Keep cash drawer organized and accurate by following the procedures outlined in the “Cashier Policy Manual” and paying close attention to the detail of each transaction. Meet all merchandising needs requested by managers including, but not limited to: Bagging of seed, feed or other product. Merchandising, labeling, and assembly of store products. Stocking items on shelves. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-end, displays and store aisles. Understand and follow all store policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.
