Warehouse and Material Specialist

Job Title: Warehouse and Material Specialist Location: Orangeburg, NY– Onsite Hours/Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Compensation: $20.00 – $21.00 per hour, depending on experience Type: Contract (3 months – covering a leave of absence) Overview Our client is a global leader in specialized diagnostics and life sciences technologies. They are currently seeking a Warehouse and Material Specialist to support their distribution and manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for someone with warehouse experience looking to work in a clean, organized, and highly regulated environment focused on quality and precision. Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming materials and process outbound shipments Perform data entry of transactions into inventory systems (SAP preferred) Pick, pack, and ship orders with accuracy and efficiency Conduct daily cycle counts and assist with inventory maintenance Maintain organization and cleanliness throughout the warehouse Demonstrate expertise in assigned primary warehouse responsibilities Serve as a backup for non-primary warehouse functions as needed Perform other duties as assigned by the manager Requirements Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience SAP or similar ERP system experience is preferred Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Ability to lift and perform physical warehouse duties High school diploma or equivalent required Working knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory systems, and shipping/receiving protocols Benefits System One offers eligible employees health and welfare benefits coverage options, including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Health and dependent care flexible spending accounts Life and accident insurance Voluntary benefit plans Participation in a 401(k) plan Ref: #558-Scientific #J-18808-Ljbffr
