Outpatient Therapist (LCSW-R, LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, MSW, MHC)

Therapist Position

Valeo Resources has partnered with a community mental health organization. We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time Therapist to join the team in Gloversville, NY.

The therapist position includes providing individual, family, and group therapy for our clients who range in age from 5 years and up. On-site medical providers work in collaboration with therapists to ensure clients' best understand their mental health, medication, and individual treatment plans.

Schedule: 40-hr work week scheduled Monday-Friday during hours of operation

Ideal candidates for the position will have the following:

• New York State licensed LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-R preferred
• MSW & MHC candidates will be considered
• Minimum of two (2) years of professional mental health experience preferred
• Excellent clinical skills with the ability to treat all DSM 5 mental health disorders in a manner consistent with ethical and proven therapy techniques
• Cleared and maintain verification under mandated criminal background screenings for all Federal and State Agency regulations
• Patience, empathy, and strong desire to help others with an understanding of socio-economic factors in client care
• Strong computer skills and ability to effectively complete electronic health records (EHR), including required OMH documentation, safety, and treatment plans
