Academic Primary Care Physician

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine physician for a 1.0 FTE academic primary care faculty position at their residency clinic in New Britain, CT. This role blends continuity care, resident education, and program leadership within a supportive, team-based environment. Shift & Schedule 1.0 FTE Weekdays only, half day protected admin time Morning continuity clinics Afternoon resident clinic focused on dedicated precepting Shared clinic call coverage within a collegial faculty group 0.5 day of protected administrative time weekly Back-Up Phone Call Only in rotation every 3rd to 4th week Qualifications Unrestricted State of Connecticut medical license (or eligible) MD or DO, BE/BC Internal Medicine Flexible, collaborative, and excited to contribute beyond traditional clinical duties Passionate about academic medicine, team-based care, and caring for underserved populations Preferred: Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching Internal Medicine residents in an outpatient clinic setting Preferred: Proven leadership experience in clinical operations, education, quality improvement, or administration
