Occupational Therapist

The role involves providing occupational therapy services to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The therapist will assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Key responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations and assessments, implementing therapeutic interventions, educating patients and families about treatment goals and progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care. The patient population includes individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or illnesses, such as strokes and orthopedic conditions. A strong understanding of adaptive equipment and rehabilitation techniques is essential. Experience working with various patient demographics and conditions, including amputees, neurological disorders, and cognitive impairments, is preferred. The therapist will be expected to maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy services provided. Candidates must have the ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care. A commitment to safety and injury prevention in the therapy process is required.
