LPN Nursing Long Term Care

Job Title: LPN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Long Term Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 1 year of experience required License: State License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Epic charting experience required Description: Unit accepts first-time travelers. Locals are not accepted; must be more than 75 miles away. Floating may be required per facility need. Weekend coverage is every other weekend. Patient ratios are 1:21 during the day and weekends, and 1:42 at night. Common patient diagnoses include dementia, arthritis, CHF, and CVA. The unit has 42 beds. Experience with a patient ratio of 1:21 is required. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary. Special procedures involve care for patients with long-term conditions. Candidates must float as needed. Background checks will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Modules may be required prior to start and vary by specialty. Modules are billable up to five hours for completion.
