Job Summary

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, hands-on problem-solving skills, and experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment and production machinery

• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) according to established schedules

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including changing bearings, belts, motors, and other components

• Work with PLC systems for basic troubleshooting, monitoring, and adjustments

• Perform MIG welding and fabrication repairs as needed

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical components, including sensors, switches, motors, and control panels

• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals

• Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects

• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and company policies

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

• Support production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability

• Proven experience as an industrial or maintenance technician

• PLC experience required (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar preferred)

• Strong mechanical aptitude, including experience with bearings, gearboxes, and hydraulics/pneumatics

• MIG welding experience

• Experience working with electrical components and industrial electrical systems

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment under minimal supervision

• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs

• Ability to work in an industrial environment with exposure to noise, heat, and moving machinery
