We seek a fun, hardworking, compassionate team player to help us grow and serve our community's oral surgery needs. Previous oral surgery experience is a plus but not required. Role and Responsibilities The Scheduling Coordinator plays a critical role in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the best clinical outcomes, and meeting patient needs. Responsibilities include greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, collecting payments, and preparing patient charts. Provide concierge-level customer service to patients, referring offices, and team members via phone, in person, or electronically. Greet patients and visitors warmly upon arrival. Answer phones promptly with a friendly demeanor. Schedule appointments to maximize patient satisfaction and efficient use of resources. Prepare daily schedules for providers. Prepare and maintain patient charts. Manage patient flow to minimize wait times. Assist patients as needed. Keep the reception area neat and professional. Maintain professional relationships with referring offices. Ensure confidentiality of all information per HIPAA regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. At least one year of customer service experience required. Skills and Abilities Understanding of dental terminology, friendly and professional demeanor, basic office skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
