About the Role
The Company is in search of a Clinical Development Lead (CDL) to join their team. The CDL will be responsible for overseeing and driving the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of clinical development programs across one or more assets. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on understanding of the operational complexities of drug development, and a sense of urgency to bring therapies to patients. The successful candidate will serve as the clinical lead on cross-functional development program teams, lead the development of clinical trial design and strategies, and partner closely with clinical operations to ensure the successful execution of clinical trials. Additionally, the CDL will be involved in regulatory submissions, and health authority interactions, and will contribute to business development and licensing activities. Applicants for the CDL position at the company should have an MD, PhD, or PharmD in a relevant life sciences discipline, with a minimum of 8-12 years of experience in clinical research and drug development within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry. The role demands a candidate with a strong background in clinical trial design, experience across multiple phases of development, and a proven track record of leading clinical programs and interacting with regulatory authorities. The ideal candidate will possess deep clinical expertise, strong leadership and collaboration capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
