Cook Prep, Cook Lunch FT/PT

Overview This position will plan, prep, set up, and provide quality service in all areas of food production for menu items and specials in the designated outlets, in accordance with standards and plating guide specifications. Responsibilities Gather, wash, cut, season, cook, and store quality ingredients; work efficiently and effectively to support all production tasks. Prepare basic food items in the kitchen and handle all production tasks in a timely manner. Perform a variety of butchering tasks, such as trimming and cutting. Support all other cooks in their preparation tasks. Assist Sous Chefs in maintaining order and addressing unexpected situations. Maintain a good working knowledge of kitchen systems and knife skills. Withstand large workloads under high heat. Maintain a clean and safe work area adhering to food safety and health standards. Handle and clean kitchen equipment carefully and safely to prevent damage or injury. Perform other kitchen duties as required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent customer service focus and communication skills. Ability to interpret and extract information and/or perform arithmetic functions.
