Competitive salary commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) plan with company match Generous paid time off and paid holidays Professional development and training opportunities Supportive, team-oriented culture with emphasis on safety and long-term stability What You Bring to the Table We are seeking a detail-oriented PSM Specialist with 3–5+ years of Process Safety Management experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment, strong knowledge of Cal/OSHA PSM (Title 8, Section 5189) and EPA Risk Management Plan (RMP) regulations, and direct experience supporting anhydrous ammonia refrigeration systems. You will develop, implement, and maintain the facility’s Process Safety Management and Risk Management Programs to ensure compliance, prevent releases, and support safe, reliable operations in a fast-paced production setting. A clean driving record is required. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain the PSM program for ammonia refrigeration systems, including coordination of all PSM elements such as PHAs, operating procedures, mechanical integrity, MOC, incident investigation, and compliance audits Provide technical safety oversight for anhydrous ammonia refrigeration systems, including inspections, preventive maintenance, system design reviews, and emergency planning Lead or facilitate Process Hazard Analyses, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking Develop and deliver PSM and ammonia safety training for employees and contractors while promoting a strong safety culture Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, auditors, and internal teams on PSM and ammonia-related matters Support cross-functional collaboration with maintenance, engineering, operations, and EHS teams on capital projects, MOC processes, and continuous improvement initiatives This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected leader in food production where your PSM expertise and ammonia refrigeration knowledge will play a critical role in protecting employees, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting safe, reliable operations.
