Job Description Job Description Dental Assistant Pay: $17-20/hour Schedule: Full-time Location: Grand Junction, CO Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our team. This role supports the dental provider in delivering high-quality care while ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for patients. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment Duties Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms Take and record patient medical histories and vital signs Capture dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed Provide patients with pre- and post-operative instructions Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols Support front office tasks as needed, including scheduling and patient communication Skills High school diploma or equivalent required Dental experience preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and team members. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in a clinical setting.
