Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of recent CT experience for a night shift position at a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke facility requiring both Kansas and Missouri licensure. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of recent CT specialty experience required, with at least 1 full year of in-specialty experience within the past 12 months and no employment gap greater than 90 days in the past year Current BLS, ARRT (CT), and ARRT (R) certifications required Both Kansas and Missouri state licenses, or a compact license, must be in hand at time of consideration — license required if applicable Proficiency with GE and Siemens CT equipment required Experience with contrast media preparation and administration, head CT protocols, and peripheral IV insertion required Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible 2 professional references required: at least one must be supervisor-level or above, and the second may be a charge RN; all references must be from someone who has worked with the candidate within the past year Responsibilities Hospital-based CT Scan unit at a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke center Night shifts, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Weekends are required Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed Procedures include head scans without and/or with contrast, and preparation and/or administration of contrast media Starting peripheral IVs is required GE and Siemens CT equipment is used Charting is performed in Epic First-time travelers are accepted for this position RTO is capped at 7 days for the duration of the contract Travel partners are not accepted for this assignment Blue scrubs are required Pre-employment compliance modules averaging 10–15 hours are required and must be completed prior to the start date No on-call requirement Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-723568 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr Newsandtribune
