POSITION SUMMARY:
The Medical Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing laboratory test results, following quality control, quality assurance protocols, training personnel and maintaining equipment. The Medical Laboratory Technician is distinguished from the Clinical Laboratory Scientist in that the incumbent performs only waived (un-supervised) and moderate complex testing (under supervision) to include no microscopy testing defined by the State of California and CLIA ’88 federal regulations. State of California Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT Associates Degree Six (6) months clinical training or internship Position Pay Range: $22.90- $37.71/hour In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, El Centro Regional Medical Center (ECRMC) posts the pay range for all jobs. Please note that actual pay will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state.
