Step into an essential role providing exceptional MRI imaging services in a dynamic hospital environment. As an MRI technologist, you will support patient care and safety while operating state-of-the-art magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely position patients on the examination table, utilizing specialized coils (e.g., head or knee) in accordance with radiologist protocols.
• Clearly demonstrate use of the intercom microphone for direct communication with patients during procedures.
• Accurately enter patient information, scan details, and imaging parameters into the system for proper exam documentation.
• Operate MRI equipment by inputting specific scan sequences and adjusting technical settings as required.
• Monitor patients' comfort and safety through observation windows and closed-circuit TV during all scans.
• Review imaging results on video display screens, confirming the production of clear, diagnostic-quality images.
• Use imaging equipment to photograph and archive completed scans.
• Educate and alert staff about the safety precautions related to metal objects near the MRI magnet room.
• Perform additional imaging duties and assist with departmental tasks as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:

• Certified/licensed MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI certification preferred).
• Solid understanding of MRI safety, protocols, and patient care.
• Experience operating MRI imaging systems in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Skilled in patient communication and comfort management.
• High attention to detail, with strong organizational and technical skills.
