Job Description and Duties

The CMD Comptroller's Office is responsible for advising The Adjutant General on all financial resources appropriated to the California Military Department (CMD) by the State Legislature, the Federal Government under reimbursable agreements, and other reimbursements available to the CMD for California National Guard (CNG) and other related activities. The office consists of five sections: Accounting, Administration, Budgets/Accounts Payable, Procurement, and Emergency Finance. Under the direction of the Services Manager I, will independently perform the more complex duties associated with supervising, monitoring, and assisting in the overall management of Department's Procurement Services Program.

Effective July 1, 2025, specific Bargaining Units and associated Excluded State employees are subject to a salary reduction between 2% - 4.62% in exchange for Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) hours each month.
