Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in an acute care facility. This role involves providing specialized care to critically ill patients with a variety of diagnoses, including ventilator support, post-cardiac procedures, sepsis, ECMO, and stroke. The position requires the ability to manage complex patient needs and operate advanced monitoring and support equipment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 10/26/2026 to 01/23/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with vents, trachs, tube feeds, chest tubes, titrating drips, and DKA management.
• Floats: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Must have at least 2 years of ICU experience.
  • Willing to accept first-time traveler candidates.
  • Unit has 24 beds, with a mix of ICU and stepdown patients.
  • Patient ratios vary from 1:1 to 1:3.
  • Support staff includes CNAs, RTs, midlevel ICU providers, intensivist coverage 24/7, telemetry technicians, and other departmental personnel.
  • Technology and equipment include EMR: Cerner, infusion pumps (Plum 360, OmniCell), monitors (Philips), CRRT, Artic Sun, balloon pumps, EKOS, Pacer, among others.
  • Unit operates with orientation of 1-2 shifts.
  • Scrub color: Galaxy Blue.
  • Parking is free.
