Job Details: Job Location: OOIDA - Grain Valley, MO 64029 Position Type: Full Time OOIDA is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Renewal Underwriter to join our team. This position plays a critical role in evaluating existing policies for continued eligibility and ensuring our members receive accurate, timely renewal information. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently. Vacation and personal time after 60 days 401K - employer matches half up to 10% Casual dress attire On-site fitness and daycare center Responsibilities Evaluates entire policy for continued acceptability Reviews three-year loss history for eligibility to renew, forwards to management any that may not be eligible for renewal. Submits to agent for any changes or errors that need to be corrected prior to quoting. Completes debit/credit sheets to determine renewal rate. Orders MVRs for questionable accounts Prints and sends renewal paperwork to the insured Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience Two years office experience One-year insurance industry experience Microsoft Office Suite proficiency Helpful Knowledge of the trucking industry Bilingual (English, Spanish) #J-18808-Ljbffr OOIDA
