Experience with various endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy, EGD, and ERCP
Knowledge of monitoring conscious sedation and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias

Description: The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing care in the endoscopy unit. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience, including over 1 year in an outpatient endoscopy center. Experience in pre and post procedure care as well as inpatient care is essential. The role may require floating to different facilities as needed. The nurse should possess excellent skills in administering conscious sedation and airway management. Experience with various endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy, EGD, and ERCP is preferred. Knowledge of monitoring conscious sedation and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias is required. The nurse will assist with specimen handling and labeling, starting and maintaining IVs, and using related medical equipment. The environment includes a high daily case volume, and the nurse must be adaptable to the needs of the unit. Interdisciplinary support will be available, providing a collaborative work setting. The candidate should maintain professionalism and a commitment to patient care at all times.
