Phlebotomist Floater
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a Float Phlebotomist for its Wichita, Kansas laboratory operations. The role involves blood collection across multiple sites on a rotating Monday–Friday schedule, with additional compensation and mileage reimbursement for travel between locations.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all patient age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and process billing
- Travel to multiple sites and provide customer service to patients
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years phlebotomy experience or accredited certification program
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- At least 21 years old
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
Compensation: $1.00/hr premium plus mileage reimbursement for float work
