Position Title: Warehouse Forklift Operator

Wage: $19.25/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 2:00pm-10:00pm

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Warehouse Forklift Operator for a company in Fort Atkinson, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity on 2nd shift.

Warehouse Forklift Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Obtain copy of production schedule or shipping order and transport material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility
- Provide raw or WHIP stock to production machines per the production schedule
- Load and unload goods from vehicles
- Move goods packed on pallets or slip sheets around the storage facility
- Stack goods in the correct storage bays, follow inventory control instructions
- Check loads are secure
- Stack empty pallets
- Perform daily equipment checks on the forklifts, per OSHA guidelines
- Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines
- Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
- Dump materials into machine hoppers

Warehouse Forklift Operator Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good math, language, and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required
- High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment
- Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records
- Execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- May be required to use an RF scanner gun
- Valid state motor vehicle operator's license may be required
- Forklift certification per OSHA standards
- Must be able to stand entire shift
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds throughout the day
