SAP SD Analyst

Job Summary The SD SAP Analyst analyzes complex business problems to be solved with SAP (ECC and S/4HANA) and other associated business applications, providing technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing cost‑effective systems and procedures that enhance business performance. Responsibilities Configure the SAP SD module at the project level, including pricing, inter‑company processing, e‑invoicing, smartforms, LSMW, EDI, variant configuration, trade compliance, customer repair processes, and LTMC/LTMOM if applicable. Translate user requests into application‑system solutions and design and implement system configuration, enhancements, and modifications. Resolve business issues with relevant groups (system users, management, consultants, support staff). Define and design complex processes for configuration, upgrade, and maintenance of SAP and related application systems. Create requirements for specific forms/reports and design test plans, execute test scenarios, validate test data, and document results in collaboration with business functional leads. Coordinate end‑user training documentation and conduct training sessions. Analyze business practices, processes, and scenarios; redesign procedures to align with best practices. Use query and reporting tools to deliver timely information and determine appropriate programming tools. Coordinate the majority of project‑management functions of user groups (planning, scheduling, communication, tracking, documentation). Provide support for SAP and non‑SAP applications and maintain the help‑desk database and knowledge base. Participate in the creation and enforcement of IT software standards and procedures. Qualifications 10+ years of SAP SD experience, with hands‑on experience in both S/4HANA and ECC. Extensive knowledge of GTS, Customer Service, ARM, and pricing procedure configuration in multi‑factory/multi‑country environments. Experience with ATP configuration, integration with Ship Exec, and working across multiple corporations. Strong project‑management experience and ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business terms. Strong organizational skills and familiarity with SAP best practices. BA/BS degree and proven experience in software systems, database applications, system development, and report writing. US citizenship required. Applicants must not require or be currently on a work visa. Salary Range $120,300.00 – $160,400.00. The actual compensation will be based on experience and location.
