Cisco Network and FTD Firewall Engineer

Prestigious Global Firm is currently seeking a Network Engineer with strong Cisco FTD firewall administration, and Cisco ACI management. Candidate will oversee the full lifecycle of network infrastructure, including the design, deployment, support, compliance and documentation of routing, switching, firewalls and cloud-base solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Support and delivery on day-to-day network services tickets supporting production operations and contribute project execution activities.
\n
• Support ongoing design and implementation of networking solutions and infrastructure
\n
• Cisco FTD firewall administration
\n
• Cisco ACI management
\n
• Will regularly implement networking changes as part of BAU activities
\n
• Collaborates with the network and project teams and security to identify risks, track and resolve issues, and eliminate project roadblocks.
\n
• Perform other duties as assigned
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• Strong foundation in Network protocols and concepts
\n
• Advanced familiarity with Cisco network products and solutions
\n
• Experience with network firewalls and operational use of firewall products (FTD, Checkpoint).
\n
• Extensive experience in implementing network LAN/WAN solutions (Cisco ACI).
\n
• Experience with load balancing traffic, SSL off-loading and certificate mgmt (F5 LTM)
\n
• Cisco certification preferred, or equivalent years of experience.
\n
• Familiarity with network management tools and monitoring solutions
\n
• Outstanding written and oral presentation skills.
\n
• Ability to understand project timelines, resource forecasting and project milestone creation.
