Key responsibilities include daily hands-on analytics and data engineering, strategic partnership with stakeholders, and team building and leadership. Applicants for the Head of Data Engineering and Analytics role at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' experience in data analytics, BI, or data engineering, with a proven track record in SQL, modern cloud data stacks, and dashboarding/reporting using BI tools. A background in supporting finance, operations, or commercial teams with analytics, particularly in B2B SaaS, marketplace, or e-commerce environments, is essential. The ideal candidate will also have experience in building or scaling a data function, and familiarity with tools such as Python, R, dbt, Airflow, and Fivetran. The role requires a leader who can not only manage the technical aspects of data but also has the ability to mentor and lead a team, and is adept at forecasting, experimentation, or A/B testing.
