Come join our team!Arcosa Traffic Structures is searching for a Product Surface Prep to join our team.Location: Sumterville, FLWhat you'll do:• Grinding – remove scale from burn parts.• Provide skilled assistance in assigned area.• Train for additional skills.• Perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.• May assist skilled workers involved in fabricating, welding, assembling, installing, and processing by a variety of functions such as sorting and counting, feeding, and unloading parts, sweeping, cleaning, rough painting, and other manual labor tasks as needed.• Follow all safety rules and practices.• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.• Perform other duties as assigned.What you'll need:• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.• Basic understanding of manufacturing work environment.• The ability to maintain good attendance.• Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant.Working Conditions:• Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.• This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays.• Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant.Job SummaryRequisition Number: PLATE014704Job Category: CoatingsSchedule: Full-Time
