Remote but best candidate will be located in either Central or Eastern time zone. Your Role: Lead senior software and infrastructure engineers responsible for the performance, reliability, and evolution of our UCaaS voice platform Partner with Product Management to define goals, set priorities, and translate strategy into execution Drive planning and delivery of new features and services while maintaining operational excellence Coach and develop engineers through regular 1:1s, performance feedback, and structured growth plans Lead sprint ceremonies, status reviews, and execution rhythms that create clarity and accountability Champion best practices in infrastructure as code, reproducibility, automation, and observability Stay hands‑on by guiding architecture decisions and contributing to complex troubleshooting when needed Strengthen monitoring, alerting, and system visibility across our VoIP environment Ensure voice infrastructure is highly available, scalable, and resilient Support escalated technical issues and participate in an on‑call rotation (approximately one week per month) Lead a high‑performing remote team with trust, ownership, and clear communication Qualifications: 5 years ofsoftware,infrastructure, SRE or platform engineeringexperience Leadership and initiative Ability to lead a remote‑work team Organized and detail oriented Experience working in a Linux or UNIX-like environment Experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling, suchas Ansible orDocker Relational Databases such as MySQLor PostgreSQL Experience with version control using Git Experience using or building observability stacks, such as Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Datadog or Nagios English fluency and strong writing skills Skills that would be helpful, but not required: Experience with cloud infrastructure such asAWS orOpenStack Proficient with VoIP (SIP, RTP and other real‑time communication protocols) Proficient with telephony platforms; any ofFreeSWITCH,OpenSIPS,Kamailioor Asterisk Experience with programming languages such as PHP or Lua What We Offer: Extensive Benefit Options (Health, Vision, Dental, Long & Short term Disability) effective after a short waiting period Matching 401K program - 100% match on 4%.
