Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Position Details Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.92 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM Tue 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM Wed 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM Thur 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM Sun 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, loading and unloading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, screen visitors and/or drivers as required by site procedures, and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity. Support day-to-day operations by communicating with site contacts, observing for potential hazards or policy concerns, and escalating security-related issues when appropriate. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. X-ray screening experience is preferred. A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
