Laundry Aide

Part‑Time Laundry Aide – Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Evening Shift Available Summary We are seeking a dependable, detail‑oriented Laundry Aide to join our team in providing high‑quality care and comfort to our residents. This position plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by ensuring all linens and personal clothing are processed efficiently and handled with care. Responsibilities Collect, sort, and process linens and residents’ personal laundry Operate commercial washers, dryers, and related equipment Fold, organize, and distribute clean linens to designated areas Label and track residents’ clothing to prevent loss or mix‑ups Maintain cleanliness of laundry room and equipment Follow infection‑control, safety, and sanitation procedures Report damaged items or equipment concerns to supervisor Assist with linen inventory and supply management Qualifications Ability to lift, push, and pull laundry bags and carts Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Prior laundry or healthcare experience preferred but not required Commitment to resident dignity, respect, and quality care Benefits Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance (if applicable) Paid time off and holiday pay Supportive team environment Opportunities for growth within the facility Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) Statement The Waters of Bristol is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
