Construction Project Coordinator in Indianapolis

Cornerstone Construction Group, LLC is looking for a Construction Project Coordinator to join our team in our Indianapolis office. This person will lead the successful execution of a variety of projects from start to finish and serve as a key resource in maintaining all construction file records for each project and providing critical reporting performance information for the President, VP of Admin, and Owner group. Experience with Procore, Sage, Microsoft Excel, and other standard Office software programs is essential. Experience in a construction organization is required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities General office duties: Compose and send all types of routine correspondence. Make copies of correspondence or other printed materials. Prepare outgoing mail and correspondence, including e‑mail and faxes. Complete general office tasks as needed including ordering office supplies, servicing office equipment, managing cell phone accounts, utility coordination, etc. Project related duties: Responsible for project AIA, lien waivers, etc. Input project budget and commitments into accounting software. Conduct supplier and subcontractor verification. Prepare subcontracts and purchase agreements. Coordinate approval routing and distribution for documents. Prepare RFIs, CORs, Submittals, Cos, meeting minutes, and other documentation for Project Managers and Superintendents. Create project resources in designated software and ensure records are entered in system. Collect, organize and review all certificates of insurance for coverage and limit compliance. Ensure key project documents are distributed to field and subs. Maintain project filing system – including all software application, shared drives, and hard files. Post monthly aerial photos. Assist Project Engineer with preparation of warranty/owner’s manual. Assist Project Manager with monthly project review meetings including project cost forecasting. May provide training and supervisory support to other Project Coordinators and Field Clerks. Experience & Skills Strong communication and people management skills. Very organized, with strong attention to detail; stay on top of paperwork. Flexible and able to shift priorities as needed. Computer skills sufficient to enter reports and daily operations data into a computer. High level comprehension of multifamily and commercial construction projects from inception to completion. Strong project management skills. Experience reviewing and creating construction billing. Strong problem solving and analysis. Managerial experience preferred. Training & Education Bachelor’s Degree from a four‑year college or university; or 5–10 years of related experience and/or training; or Equivalent combination of education and experience.
