Paid Influencer Specialist (Contract)

We are seeking an organized, relationship-driven Paid Influencer Specialist to join Ariat's Digital Brand Marketing team on a contract basis and support paid influencer content for Ariat. The Paid Influencer Specialist will partner closely with the Digital Program Manager, who runs Ariat's paid influencer program, and will work day to day with brand marketing, brand creative, paid media, and external creators and talent partners. This role owns the operational backbone of the Ariat paid influencer program: identifying and vetting creators who authentically represent Ariat’s western, work and equestrian communities; managing briefs, contracts, and deliverables end to end; and making sure content is on brand, on time, and cleared for use across paid and organic channels. The ideal candidate has run paid creator campaigns before, understands what makes work content credible to a working audience, and brings the follow-through to keep dozens of creator relationships and deliverables moving at once. This is a contract position for an initial term through 6/30/26, with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance. The role is expected to require approximately 20-40 hours per week and may be performed [remotely / hybrid from our San Leandro, CA headquarters]. You’ll Make a Difference By Partnering with the Digital Program Manager to execute the Ariat paid influencer plan against seasonal brand priorities, product launches, and paid media needs. Sourcing, vetting, and recommending creators who align with Ariat s audience, values, and brand standards. Managing creator outreach, negotiation, and onboarding, including rate proposals, usage rights, and exclusivity terms, in partnership with the Digital Program Manager, Legal teams and outside agencies. Drafting creator briefs that translate campaign strategy and product stories into clear content direction, key messages, deliverables, and timelines. Owning the content pipeline from brief through draft review, feedback, revisions, approval, and final delivery, ensuring every asset meets brand, product, and FTC disclosure standards. Coordinating product seeding and sample logistics with product, eCommerce, and warehouse partners so creators have the right gear on time. Partnering with the paid media team to hand off approved creator content, secure whitelisting or Spark Ads permissions, and track which assets are live. Tracking creator deliverables, invoices, and payments; maintaining the influencer roster, contract records, and content library. Monitoring creator and category trends across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook to surface new talent and content opportunities for Ariat. Mine TikTok Content Suite for UGC creator content that aligns with seasonal brand campaigns; seek content approval and route to paid teams for inclusion in campaigns. Supporting organic social and brand marketing with creator content and event or activation coverage as needed. Assisting with other responsibilities based on business needs. About You 3+ years of experience in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, or social media marketing, ideally for a consumer brand or agency. Hands-on experience running paid creator campaigns end to end, including sourcing, negotiation, briefing, content review, usage rights, and reporting. Working knowledge of influencer platforms and tools (such as CreatorIQ, GRIN, Aspire, or similar) and native analytics on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Familiarity with FTC disclosure requirements, usage-rights and licensing terms, and creator whitelisting for paid media. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; comfortable building rapport with creators and representing the brand professionally. Highly organized with strong project management skills; able to keep many creators, deliverables, and deadlines on track at once. Eye for authentic content and a clear sense of what resonates with a working, outdoor audience. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, to pivot, and balance multiple priorities. The hourly range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour. The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations.
