About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Practice Excellence and Family-Centered Care to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive strategy that promotes high-quality, evidence-based pediatric care and professional nursing practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing executive oversight of various key areas, including community and academic partnerships, practice transition, professional development, research and innovation, and family services. This role demands a leader with a strong background in nursing, at least 15 years of experience, and a minimum of 5 years in progressive leadership. The VP will be instrumental in advancing the organization's mission, ensuring alignment with national benchmarks, and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should hold a Master's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a doctoral degree, and must be a Registered Nurse with CPR certification. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in teaching, mentoring, and developing curricula, as well as experience in leading Magnet program initiatives and multidisciplinary teams. The VP will be expected to have a deep knowledge of nursing practice and family-centered care principles, and the ability to apply research findings to establish and enhance patient care models. Strategic leadership, financial stewardship, and a commitment to quality improvement and patient safety are essential.
