The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the College of Medicine at the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida seeks candidates for the position of Chief, Division of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at the rank of Associate Professor/Professor. There is an option of non-tenure clinical versus tenure track faculty. Ideally, applicants should have demonstrated experience in leading teams and clinical operations in the practice of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. The Division Chief will have responsibility for supervision and management of the REI faculty and staff, the clinical operations of the practice (IVF and non-IVF), the educational activities for learners at all levels, and research initiatives (both translational and clinical).

The Division of Reproductive Endocrinology at the University of Florida is the only academic REI Practice for a very large geographic area with a reach that extends from Central Florida across state lines. The division and department offer comprehensive care for patients with reproductive endocrinology and infertility needs, including reproductive disorder management, in vitro fertilization, ultrasound, diagnostic hysteroscopy and operative hysteroscopy, fertility preservation, and reproductive surgery. The Division has experienced outstanding growth across an expanding geographic area. We have an opportunity for growing clinical or research collaboration with UF Health Jacksonville and Pensacola.

The UF Health Reproductive Medicine Clinic is a free-standing state of the ART IVF and clinical facility located within a medical office building in Gainesville, Florida that supports all clinical activities of the division. The clinical office space is over 5000 sq ft and includes CAP certified andrology and embryology laboratories. Male infertility services are provided in the REI office in collaboration with a Fellowship trained male infertility specialist from the UF Department of Urology and with our andrology services.

The University of Florida has an outstanding history of leadership in reproductive biology and immunology research for over 50 years, with outstanding contributions across multiple departments in the College of Medicine and multiple colleges of the University. There is an opportunity for protected research time with growing departmental infrastructure to support this mission. Teaching responsibilities include an active role in the training of medical students and residents including participation in the formal curriculum.

Duties and Responsibilities: This position will encompass service to the University in areas of patient care, teaching, and research, and committee work appropriate to their professional training and capabilities and their career goals. The Division Chief will provide oversight for the division's activities in the multiple missions of the University of Florida College of Medicine. All faculty members are expected to supervise students, residents, nurses and mid-level providers assigned to the clinical practice location.

Division faculty Members are expected to demonstrate outstanding activity in the teaching aspects of the Department. Specifically, this would include: Providing teaching instruction and supervision to residents and medical students in all aspects of reproductive medicine and assisted reproductive procedures. Providing lectures to residents and medical students as requested. Attending Department Grand Rounds, and Division meetings and other Departmental activities. Participating in mentorship of medical student and residents for research and career development is also encouraged. Opportunities for research support are available for the right candidate.

Expected Salary: Commensurate with experience.

Minimum Requirements: 4-year ACGME accredited obstetrics and gynecology residency program, and an ACGME accredited Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Fellowship. Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Licensure by the State of Florida Medical Board will be required prior to commencement of employment.

Preferred Qualifications: Prior leadership experience in a Reproductive Endocrinology Division.
