Seasonal Wine Bar Event Server- Flex-Time

What Youll DoWe're gearing up for a busy summer with the big soccer games coming to Seattle! We are looking for talented hospitality professionals to join our team thru the busy summer months as flex-time Event Servers that can commit to at least two events a month. Events can include private soccer watch parties, onsite private events, WeRise hosted events, and offsite events including tradeshows and conferences. We use a scheduling system to let you know when shifts are available. Your ResponsibilitiesGreet and seat guests in a friendly and timely mannerSetup and breakdown of event space, can include transportation of materials to eventProvide exceptional service to guests during events, including wine and food serviceEngage customers in storytelling about wineries and WeRise Wines accurately representing the brandPossess strong knowledge of wine to provide excellent recommendations and storytellingEfficiently serve food and beverages, ensuring timely deliveryMaintain a clean and organized work environmentAdhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelinesAnticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requestsMaintain a positive and professional demeanor, even under pressureWork collaboratively with the event team to ensure seamless executionQualificationsProven experience as an event server or server in a restaurant or bar setting.Strong knowledge of wine and spirits, including basic wine tasting and pairing techniques.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.Valid MAST permitValid food workers permitTIPS certification (or willingness to obtain).Passion for wine and a desire to share that passion with others.Can commit to 2 events per month when needed.Age 21+BenefitsCompetitive hourly wage plus tips.Flexible scheduling.Employee discountOpportunity to learn about wine from industry expertsA fun and rewarding work environment.Compensation$21.30/hr plus tips
