Job Summary
We are seeking Chinese-speaking Physical Therapists (PT) and Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) to provide high-quality rehabilitation services to a diverse patient population. The ideal candidates will deliver patient-centered care, support rehabilitation goals, and communicate effectively with Chinese- and English-speaking patients and families. We require strong clinical skills, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to improving patient mobility, independence, and overall outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities
Physical Therapist (PT)
- Evaluate patients' physical conditions, functional abilities, and rehabilitation needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises, functional training, manual therapy techniques, and therapeutic modalities
- Educate patients and caregivers in Chinese and English regarding treatment plans and home exercise programs
- Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Implement treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions as outlined in the plan of care
- Monitor patient responses and progress during therapy sessions
- Document patient progress and communicate updates to supervising PT
- Educate patients on exercises and rehabilitation techniques
Qualifications
Physical Therapist (PT)
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree
- Active Physical Therapist license in the State of New York
- Bilingual in Chinese (Mandarin preferred) and English
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of New York
- Bilingual in Chinese (Mandarin preferred) and English
