Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech

CST/ORTThis position is designated as on-call. The schedule includes one day each week and one weekend that covers Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The unit has a total of 3 beds and a staff of 4. On the day shift, there are 2 RNs and 2 CSTs, with night shift call only. Patient ratios are 1:1. The unit utilizes EMR Meditech Expanse. The typical procedures performed include robotic cholecystectomy, appendectomy, hernia repair, total joints, laminectomy, kyphoplasty, and carpal tunnel release. Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for the role. As staffing increases and case volume rises, the number of call days will decrease.
