Job Opportunity – Oncology & Hematology Registered Nurse – New Jersey

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Northern New Jersey

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 13-week assignment, 37.5 hours per week, approximately 50 patient visits per day across 12 treatment rooms

Highlights:

• Comprehensive oncology and hematology practice including adult medical oncology (GI, GU, Breast, Head and Neck, Neuro, Thoracic, Lymphoma, Leukemia) and GYN oncology
• Classic hematology cases including sickle cell disease, anemia, factor VIII deficiency, and ITP
• Advanced procedural skills utilized: bone marrow biopsies, GYN procedures (paps, biopsies, colposcopy, pelvic exams), port access and management, central line blood draws
• Epic EMR system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including interpretation services, phlebotomy, social services, pharmacy, and transportation
• Specialized treatments including Neupogen administration, hormonal therapy, and colostomy care
• Opportunity to work with a dedicated adult patient population in an outpatient clinic setting

Requirements:

• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact state license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of oncology/hematology nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in accessing/managing ports, central line blood draws, IV therapy, and chemotherapy administration
• Experience with Neupogen administration, hormonal therapy, and colostomy care required
• Strong clinical skills in oncology patient assessment, medication management, and patient/family education
• Ability to float within skillset as needed based on facility requirements
• Completion of pre-start modules including Epic training and facility-specific competencies
• Must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays during assignment period
