Senior IP Attorney (State Licensed)

To support a growing IP legal team, the full-time Senior IP Attorney (State Licensed) will manage complex intellectual property matters, including patent portfolio management, trademark counseling, and copyright guidance, while working remotely. Key responsibilities Lead patent portfolio management activities, including invention disclosure harvesting, patent application drafting, and strategic decision-making Provide trademark counseling and support for trademark prosecution, enforcement, and brand protection initiatives Draft and negotiate various IP-related agreements and provide guidance on copyright topics and related legal issues Required qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school; active license to practice in at least one U.S. state; USPTO registration required 6+ years of broad intellectual property experience, including patent drafting and prosecution, trademarks, and IP agreements Bachelor's degree with a technical background aligned to relevant technologies (e.g., electrification, industrial systems, robotics, or automation) Demonstrated experience in patent portfolio management and drafting/negotiating complex IP agreements Proven ability to collaborate with senior business and technical leaders and deliver actionable IP strategies
