Senior Technical Media Planner

We're hiring a Senior Technical Media Planner who's both architect and operator across the full paid media stack, someone with deep e-commerce and luxury brand experience who builds media plans and executes them in the bidder, no handoff to a junior trader. You’ll own the full lifecycle: forecasting (CPMs, CPCs, conversion rates), plan-building in Excel/Sheets, trafficking, UTM/pixel QA, in-platform optimization (tCPA, tROAS, Max Conversions), and post-campaign measurement (MTA, MMM, geo-incrementality). You’ll translate platform telemetry into clear, prescriptive recommendations for CMOs, VPs of Growth, and founders, defending budget calls with data as a strategic partner, not an order-taker. What you’ll do Run brief-to-report lifecycle across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, DV360, The Trade Desk, YouTube, and CTV/OLV, audience sizing, channel mix modeling, IO/SOW alignment, trafficking, pacing, optimization Build and launch campaigns directly in-platform (Advantage+, Performance Max, Koa bidding, Matched Audiences, Smart+, etc.) Turn performance data into client-facing decks (waterfall lift charts, LTV/CAC curves, attribution comparisons) and deliver in QBRs and status calls Proactively surface optimizations, monitor pacing daily (Datorama/Supermetrics/Looker), and flag delivery anomalies before being asked Support new business with media POVs, competitive audits, and pitch forecasting models What you bring 8+ years hands-on paid media buying, $5M+ cumulative managed spend, ideally at an agency serving premium/luxury/DTC brands Personal, in-platform execution, you build structures, write keywords, configure conversion APIs, set bids, and QA UTMs yourself Deep expertise in at least 3 of: Meta, Google/YouTube, DV360, The Trade Desk, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest Strong analytical fluency, pulling raw data via APIs/connectors, pivot tables, XLOOKUP models, acting on statistically significant deltas independently Excellent client communication, able to translate auction dynamics and attribution into plain language for non-technical stakeholders, and comfortable presenting to C-suite/VP clients Luxury, prestige beauty, hospitality, or fashion account experience is a strong plus Must be able to work Eastern Standard Hours Who thrives here Self-directed operators who set their own optimization cadence, treat in-platform rigor as a senior discipline (not a checkbox), write and present with precision, and mentor others on bidder mechanics. #J-18808-Ljbffr THE CHARLES GROUP
